World Book Day is Thursday 6 March 2025.
This year we are launching our latest community event to celebrate World Book Day!
You know at IT To Go – Computer Services we love everything tech, but sometimes things need to go back to basics. Therefore we have decided with the help of our customers to donate as many books for children as possible this World Book Day. These will be distributed around Doncaster parks over the weekend of the 25th/ 26th February 2023 ready for World Book day. So have fun searching around high and low, they won’t be easy to find 🙂
You will find the books in the following locations:
Cusworth Hall – Cusworth
Sandall Park – Wheatley
Lakeside – Bessacarr
Remember to keep an eye out all over Doncaster as you never know some children may even re-hide the books once they have read them, at other venues!
And use the hashtag #freebooksdoncaster to help each other find them.
Have you got any books that are brand new and of no use? You could be our new best friend. If so please feel free to drop them into the shop (Unit 7, Bootham Lane Ind Est, Dunscroft, Doncaster, DN7 4JU) before 3pm on Friday 24th February so that they can be prepared and hidden in time.
